Providing high-quality, scalable data solutions for AXS products is a top priority, and we are actively seeking our next Database Administrator. The successful candidate will work with others to design, build, implement, and optimize mission-critical databases, processes, and reports in support of the development and data platform teams to accomplish organizational objectives.

Build Oracle and SQL Server-compatible T-SQL/PL/SQL packages, functions, triggers, and SQL statements.
Create databases that are secure, dependable, and efficient.
Create physical design databases.
Construct use of your database creation skills to make tables, views, indexes, and sequences.
Communicate with coders to enhance programs and set standards.
Compile design specs and cost estimates for the project.
In case of emergency, please respond according to the on-call schedule.
Knowledge and expertise are wanted…

  • Commercial work experience comparable to four to six years preferred.
  • Proven track record of development with Oracle19c/21c on Linux/Windows, including T-SQL and PL/SQL programming.
  • Knowledge of database tuning, database integration design, and implementation, and database project management is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable in developing and maintaining database schemas.
  • Expertise in the field of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring).
  • Expertise in designing complex SQL queries and tuning/optimizing existing ones.
  • Exceptional capacity for thinking critically and solving problems.
  • Experience with at least one Business Intelligence project’s full lifecycle (Requirements, Design, Development, and Implementation) using cloud services like
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure is preferable.
  • Willingness to take part in a shift of being “on call”
